Growing in God’s Word
At GRCA, we aim to provide a biblical worldview in every classroom and subject. However, giving time specifically for delving deeper into God’s Word is essential for our students’ spiritual growth. Below are some ways we seek to accomplish this goal.
Chapel
We believe that God has ordained a special role of preaching his word to impart his wisdom to the hearer. Therefore, the entire academy will participate in chapel every week on Friday. By faith, we believe that God will use the preaching of his word to change our students and us to the end that Christ will be glorified. (I Corinthians 1: 7-31)
Bible Classes
Every grade has a Bible class tailored to its age. Elementary Bible bridges the gap between head knowledge and heart knowledge by studying and interpreting biblical truths from Genesis to Revelation. Middle school and high school Bible develops the student’s worldview through biblical themes so they can interact with their culture with truth and love.
Local Churches
Gunnery Road Christian Academy expects students, along with their families, to attend a Bible-believing church.
